Normally I would never share an mp3 anything but I put together a compilation for my iPod and I thought it was pretty good.
I used the best sources I have and the mix is a great timeline from the band from the beginning in '67 to the end in '81.
This could have easily been twice as large but I kept it brief.
Esssentially,this is a trial balloonand if enough people like it,I will make this available in lossless with the tracks faded in or out where necessary..That will be very time consuming so this is a test run.

Carlos Alberto Santana Barragán, mais conhecido como Santana (Autlán de Navarro, 20 de julho de 1947), é um conhecido guitarrista e compositor mexicano.
Tornou-se famoso na década de 60 com a banda Santana Blues Band, conhecida posteriormente apenas como Santana - mais precisamente com a sua atuação no Festival de Woodstock em 1969, onde ganhou projeção mundial.
Além de ser considerado como um dos maiores guitarristas de todos os tempos (foi aclamado pela revista Rolling Stone como o 15º melhor guitarrista de todos os tempos), desde o álbum Supernatural que as suas parcerias são aclamadas no mundo artístico, sendo que os seus álbuns mais recentes são os melhores exemplos.
Entre os artistas convidados por Santana destacam-se: Steven Tyler, Maná, Kirk Hammet, Rob Thomas, Michelle Branch, Eric Clapton, Dido, The Wreckers, Joss Stone, Seal, Will.I.Am, Mary J. Blige, Sean Paul, Alex Band, Shakira, Chad Kroeger, Wyclef Jean, Tina Turner, Jennifer Lopez, Michael Jackson, P.O.D. entre outros.
Desde o início deste tipo de parcerias, Carlos Santana já recebeu 10 prémios Grammy.

Barclay James Harvest é uma banda inglesa de Rock Progressivo/Rock sinfónico,com influências na música clássica.
A banda foi fundada em Saddleworth, perto de Oldham Lancashire, Inglaterra, no mês de setembro de 1966.
Em 1997, a banda decide suspender as suas atividades de maneira temporal. Na prática, os membros do grupo iniciam carreiras solo.
Por um lado, Les Holroyd funda Barclay James Harvest featuring Les Holroyd. Mel Pritchard acompanharia Les Holroyd nesta nova banda até à sua morte em 2004.
Por outro lado, John Lees funda a sua própria versão de BJH, chamada primeiro Barclay James Harvest trough the eyes of John Lees e posteriormente John Lees' Barclay James Harvest.
Woolly Wolstenholme, depois de ter abandonado a banda em 1979 e após uma retirada de quase vinte anos, voltou à atividade musical acompanhando John Lees.
